The role
As our Senior Python Developer, you will work on both the core runtime and the cloud backend of our product MIRAI, Micropsi Industries’ groundbreaking, AI-powered control system for industrial robots.Your main tasks will be to implement new features, spanning from the controller to the backend system and the database.To succeed in this position you are highly experienced in Python, familiar with C/C++ and Golang.You know your way around a relational database, specifically PostgreSQL, and have well-founded opinions on good API design. You have worked with AWS as well as on an embedded codebase.You will work in a motivated friendly and international team in close interaction with folks from robotics, machine learning, product and automation engineering.
Responsibilities
• Improve and advance our runtime and backend codebases
• Lead implementation efforts across runtime and backend
• Take code-ownership for one or more of the backend services
Minimum Requirements
• Strong Python experience.
• Familiarity with Golang and C/C++
• Command of Linux and Unix system level tools.
• Good understanding of Postgres and other relational databases
• Prior experience in embedded development, Architecture and API design
• Solid AWS knowledge
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with 3D graphics.
• Experience with AI and/or robots
• Experience with ML-Frameworks
