The role

Join our innovative and fast-growing AI robotics company as an Accounting Specialist. We seek a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support our global finance operations, ensuring the financial accuracy and efficiency that fuels our growth. Responsibilities

Enter and manage expense transactions using accounting and expense tools.
Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections, to maintain optimal cash flow.
Reconcile daily banking activities and close sales opportunities in Salesforce.
Oversee vendor payment schedules to guarantee timely processing.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
Prepare and file U.S. sales tax returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct monthly global bank reconciliations.
Manage U.S. 1099 filings and annual global compliance filings.
Facilitate clear communication between U.S. and German teams on financial matters.
Adapt to the rapid growth and dynamic pace of an AI robotics environment.
Collaborate closely with global operations and finance teams to align financial processes.
Ensure timely processing in coordination with department heads.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of post-degree experience in accounting.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
Proactive communication skills for effective cross-department and international collaboration.
Ability to manage small to medium-sized projects while organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A curious mindset with a passion for learning, innovation, and adapting to change.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working in start-up or scale-up environments.
Proficiency in German language skills is a plus.
Knowledge of HGB (German Accounting Principles).
Preference for candidates based in the Philadelphia area.
